About pregnancy yoga at Zest:
Pippa Moss is an experienced Doula and Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga teacher, who has been supporting women and their families since 2009. Her aim is for women to feel informed, empowered, supported and nurtured through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Within Pregnancy Yoga we prepare for birth physically, mentally and emotionally.
Whether you have never done yoga before or usually love a regular yoga practise, pregnancy yoga is for you during this powerful, transformative time. Pippa will guide you through breathe work, baby focus, movement and relaxation to prepare you for pregnancy, birth and beyond. Plus we will always make time for a cup of tea and a chat!
My story starts with a friend recommending pregnancy yoga classes at the Active Birth Centre in North London to me when I was pregnant with my first son in 2005. They turned out to be life-changing. The birth of my first son was a very empowering experience, and I am convinced that without the preparation from the pregnancy yoga and Active Birth classes it could have been a very different scenario. After becoming a mum, I began to take an interest in a more holistic and natural approach to life and parenting, and decided to re-train so that I could pass on some of the knowledge and tools to others that I had found so helpful during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal months.
