What is a mini retreat

We often forget to treat ourselves to the simple gift of time to pause and rest.  This 2-hour mini retreat will start with some gentle movement followed by an hour of restorative yoga wrapped up in blankets and supported by bolsters before we move into a deeply restful yoga nidra (yogic sleep) designed to help our body rest, nervous system settle and perhaps find some clarity in our thoughts.

After our practice we will enjoy time to connect and share over some delisious locally made treats.

About Christine:

Christine is one of our resident teachers here at Zest who you will find on the timetable throughout the week for juicy Zesty Flow, or stillness and release in Yin.  She made the bold leap a few years ago to follow her passions and create a life that made her soul happy; teaching yoga, making/creating and living on the water aboard her quirky narrow boat.  Nothing makes her happier than getting to share her passions of movement, creativity and finding connection to self, our environment and others.  She brings a huge personality to all her classes and events, always with a sense of humour and a big fat smile!
